What a Great Night!

The recital was a complete success! Wow! We are so proud of all of our students! You are all STARS!!! If you would like another copy of the recital program, I am attaching a copy for you to print.

Recital time is near!

The annual Spring Piano Recital will be held at the Valdosta High School Performing Arts Center Friday, May 13, 2011 at 6:30pm.  Students need to arrive at 5:15 if they have signed up to have pictures taken.  All piano students need to be in the auditorium at 6pm to have a group picture taken.  A sign-up sheet for pictures in on the front counter in the lobby.  The dress for the recital is church attire.  Important:  Do not forget your music!!!!

Invite all of your family and friends!  This is an important event in the life of a piano student. Share it with everyone!

Congratulations! Kristen J is the winner of the free t-shirt from the Open House drawing! Kristen participated in Summer Piano Camp and is now enrolled in piano lessons at The Music Box! Way to go, Kristen!

Welcome Back!

Today was the first day of lessons for the 2009-2010 school year! Our theme this year is “Reach for the Stars!” We are looking forward to a “Star Studded” year!  Keep checking back for announcements, news and photos from the studio!

Young Composers

During our Compose Yourself camp, Elizabeth Williams and Rachael Briner had a great time writing original compositions.  Upcoming sixth grader, Elizabeth’s piece was “March to the Stars.”  Rachael, who just came back from living in Germany,  wrote a piece called, “In the Park.”  Both Elizabeth and Rachael wanted to share their pieces with other students.  Please print them out and enjoy playing them yourself!

Registration Day!

We will have REGISTRATION DAY Monday, July 13th and Tuesday, July 14th from 9:00am – 4:00pm.  Come update your student information and choose your days/time for Fall lessons.  Scheduling will begin July 15th.

All students who register during these 2 days will receive $10 off August tuition!  See you there!

Registering to Win…

Ashlyn Simon‘s came to Open House to register for Fall Classes and signed up to win a free T-shirt.  Ashlyn is a rising 5th grader at Moulton Branch Elementary School.  She has been taking piano from the Music Box for 2 years. Ashlyn and her family just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas.

Several other students came to Open House and registered to win a shirt.  Check back later to find out who won!

All Twisted Up!

Megan, Erica, Tayler, Whitley and Erin had a great time last week in Hymn camp!  Here they are playing a new game, “Interval Twister”…

Open House

The Music Box Piano Studio will have Open House for Fall registration Thursday, June 25th and Friday, June 26th from 2-4pm.  Come and select your days and times for Fall lessons.  All students need to update their information sheets and make sure we have current phone numbers and email addresses.

We will begin scheduling classes July 15th.  Remember:  There is no registration fee for returning students.  Students will be scheduled upon receipt of first month’s tuition payment.

We’ll see you there!

Update: If you did not attend open house, you may print a registration form and mail it to the studio.  Forms are available at www.musicboxpianostudio.com.  We need your days/time preferences to begin scheduling on July 15th.  Thanks!
